Charlotte-based BofA (NYSE:BAC) also will provide continued support for its NASCAR-related education program, Students at the Speedway, which highlights the importance of science, technology, engineering and math.
A NASCAR personality will lead a variety of activities for 100 middle-school students from Ranson Middle School, Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School, James Martin Middle School and Thomasboro K-8. On Sept. 28, the bank will sponsor a NASCAR career day at the NASCAR Hall of Fame for 500 students from 12 Charlotte high schools.
